USB4 Docking Station Turns Your Laptop into a Multi-Display Workstation

This professional workspace dock dramatically expands the potential of your MacBook or Windows laptop by adding nine ports to its USB4 or Thunderbolt 4 port. Not only does the U442-DOCK25 allow you to transmit 4K/60 Hz video to two displays at the same time or 8K/30 Hz to a single display, but you can also add USB peripherals, connect to a 2.5G Ethernet network and keep your host laptop fully charged and powered during use.

USB4 Host Port Supports 40 Gbps Data Transfer Speeds

The U442-DOCK25 connects to your laptop via its USB-C host port, which allows the streaming of 4K or 8K video and transfer of large CAD files at speeds up to 40 Gbps. This makes the docking station an excellent tool for filmmakers, editors, gamers, web designers and multi-taskers who use two monitors simultaneously.

Transmits 8K/4K Video to 2 Displays Simultaneously

One USB-C and two DisplayPort (DP) outputs individually support 8K video resolutions at 30 Hz or 4K at 144 Hz with HDR (High Dynamic Range), 36-bit Deep Color and 4:4:4 chroma subsampling. You can also connect two DP displays or one DP and one USB-C display at the same time and transmit 8K at 30 Hz or 4K at 30 Hz to both. This allows you to mirror the image from the host computer across two external displays or extend the host's desktop across two displays.

: The U442-DOCK25's video output capabilities vary depending on the capabilities of the host, video cabling and display(s). Host device must support DisplayPort 1.4 Alt Mode. M1 and M2 MacBooks may only extend video to a single display at resolutions up to 4K at 144 Hz.

USB Hub Ports Connect Keyboards, External Storage and Other Peripherals

Two USB-C and two USB-A hub ports accept USB peripherals, including keyboards/mice, hard drives and flash drives, and printers. All four ports support fast USB 3.2 Gen 2 data transfer rates up to 10 Gbps and are backward compatible with USB 3.2 Gen 1, USB 2.0 and USB 1.1 devices.

PD Charging Port Charges Host Device via AC Wall Charger

The USB4 Power Delivery (PD) port supports power output up to 96W, which is more than sufficient for charging and powering the connected source device, such as a MacBook Pro, Windows laptop or Chromebook. Just connect the device's wall charger to both the USB4 PD port and an AC outlet.

Accesses a Wired Gigabit Ethernet Network

The RJ45 port offers access to a 2.5 Gbps Ethernet network when Wi-Fi is unavailable or when a wired connection offers faster speeds. Connect using a compatible Cat6 Ethernet cable (sold separately) to access your local network.

Anti-Theft Locks Protect the Dock When You Aren't Around

Both a Kensington security slot (K-Slot) and a Nano security slot (Nano Slot) are featured. Connect a computer/laptop security cable lock (not included) to protect the U442-DOCK25 against theft and ensure peace of mind over your valuable data.
