Content Manager Select is based on Micro Focus Content Manager, an industry leading global solution with thousands of customers and over two million licensed users. The full power of Content Manager is unleashed in Content Manager Select, including the full capability to manage data connected to mission critical business processes. Using Advanced Disposition Processing and Auto-Classification, which are included, organizations have the full capability to manage data deletion processes associated with privacy management as well as integration to enhance the compliancy and validation of SharePoint and Office365.

Content Manager Select comes pre-packaged with five administrative users and a 500,000 object allowance to get you started on your content management journey. The three user types - Administrator, Power User and Inquiry User, give customers the ability to fully access, manage and search information from the desktop, via tablet and mobile devices. The Inquiry User - with full search capabilities - has no charge, so customers can extend Content Manager to any authorized user at no additional cost. Users are also required to purchase subscriptions to volume packages to support the ingestion and management of data from sources throughout the enterprise. Existing customers using Content Manager in a perpetual model can request conversion to CM Select to leverage the expanded user coverage and transition to an MSP delivered solution.
