Omnitron NetOutlook - License

The NetOutlook software provides software support of iConverter Network Management Module's features. The intuitive, cross-platform NetOutlook network management provides network administrators with real-time detailed port and module information and status monitoring as well as parameter configuration and Event/Trap/Alarm monitoring. It can be readily accessed Out-of-Band or In-Band via the easy-to-use GUI interface. The NetOutlook software is capable of monitoring and reporting events as well as reporting alarms. Some of the events that can be monitored are module or chassis insertion/removal, link up/down, authentication violations, power supply out of voltage or temperature range. All these can cause SNMP traps and alert the network administrator if desired.

Fixed module parameters that can be monitored include the module type and model, manufacturing information, hardware and software revisions and serial numbers. NetOutlook can monitor and configure switch selectable static parameters. Parameters such as Auto-Negotiation, speed (10/100), half/full-duplex, Link Propagate (Link Loss Carry Forward) or Segment, Remote Fault Detection, and other switch-selectable parameters can be configured via the management system thus overriding the module's physical switch settings. Dynamic real-time parameters that can be monitored include link and data receive/transmit transfer status and bandwidth utilization.
