Description: Black Box ServSwitch Wizard USB SRX Single-Video - KVM / audio / USB extender - up to 50 m

Mfr Part #: ACU5051A

MSRP: $666.55

The extender combines VGA, USB 1.1 and audio and sends them across a single CATx cable up to 50 meters. A recessed rotary knob allows for fine tuning the video image, while crystal-clear stereo audio and transparent USB 1.1 works via plug-and-play. All USB devices are supported that fulfill the USB 1.1 specification on both 1.5 Mbit (low speed) and 12 Mbit (full speed).
Modern graphic adaptor cards - even with analog output - require the presence of DDC (Display Data Channel) information. Without it, they do not output any video or just the lowest resolution without any option to change it to a higher one. The Wizard SRX Extenders read the DDC information from the attached display and store it in the local unit's non-volatile memory.
Key Points
  • Fine adjustable video quality for resolutions up to 1920 x 1200 at 60Hz
  • DDC EDID read from display to avoid plug-and-play issues
  • Local VGA and stereo audio feed through
  • Transparent USB 1.1 supports up to 50 meters of distance
